Wednesday 21st June
This morning during assembly all the children were all given a strip of purple paper. On this piece of paper they had to write something that they had done wrong that they think had spoilt their relationship with others and with God.
They made their strips of paper into a loop and threaded a strip of white paper through the purple loop to begin a chain (these white strips represented God's love). Then the loops of paper were all linked together with those of all the other children, and they ended up with one beautiful long chain. In this chain we can see that even though we have done things that are wrong, God's love can always unite us and bring us back together.
At the end, everyone said a prayer for forgiveness and guidance from God to help us to make the right choices.
