On Tuesday 1st May, the children in Rowan class were all given a pair of headphones and spent the afternoon imagining that they were Roman soldiers.
Also,they imagined that they were Roman children and needed to help their father, the centurion, to defeat Boudicca.
This is their tortoise formation, the type of formation that helped the Roman army to protect themselves in battle, it required a great deal of teamwork and cooperation. But it worked very well.
