It was Kilsby School's Sports Afternoon on Friday 6th July.
It was a very warm, sunny afternoon and the children were able to have a BBQ picnic lunch on the field before the races began. Parents and Grandparents joined them on the field bringing their own picnic.
The children took part in field events including standing long jump, shot putt and vortex throwing, and track events including sprint, bean bag, egg and spoon, three legged and 800 metre races.
Everyone did very well, especially in the heat, thank you to everyone who came along and cheered the children on.
The points were added up and Stephenson House were the overall winners with Brunel and Telford very close behind!
