Stone Age Experience Day in Rowan Class

On Wednesday 12th September, the children in Rowan class enjoyed a Stone Age experience day. They created a toilet roll timeline to help them to understand just how long ago the Stone Age was (see below).

Also, they used their hunter gatherer skills to find materials outdoors for their Stone Age art, they got a little bit messy when creating their cave art!

They also had fun making rock cakes and afterwards eating them while sitting in the nature garden listening to the story of The Stone Age Boy.

They had a really great day.
