The children in Cherry class visited the Jewish Synagogue in Birmingham today.
They were given a guided tour, first of all they looked around the Children's Synagogue, inside the building and then went on into the main Synagogue. They were lucky enough to be shown the inside of the Ark which holds the handwritten scrolls of the five Books of Moses.
It was very interesting to find out all about the religion of Judaism, the children really enjoyed this experience.
