Christingle Service

This morning the whole school walked round to St Faith's Church in Kilsby to attend the Christingle service with Rev Nigel Fry at 9.30am.

The children had been making their Christingle oranges yesterday and these were carried to church.

During the service they sang Little Donkey, Silent Night and This Little Light of Mine.  Each child was given a  Christingle candle to hold, they were lit during the service and looked beautiful when the lights were switched off.

Afterwards, everyone was invited back to school for coffee and cake organised by Rowan class, thanks to the generous donations, we raised a grand total of £231.22 which will be donated to The Central England Rehabilitation Unit in Leamington Spa.

We hope you all enjoyed the morning as much as we did!  Thank you especially to the children of Rowan class who worked really hard washing up, cleaning tables, serving cakes and helping with the tables and chairs.
