This morning, the children in Year 5 attended a Candlemas service at Holy Cross Church in Daventry.
They joined children from other church and community schools in the area for this special service celebrating Jesus, 'The Light of the World'. This was an interactive service with children taking part in role play, reading prayers, lessons and also receiving a Candlemas candle on behalf of each school. The Rev Nigel Fry joined us in church for the service
We were very proud of the children who were extremely well behaved.
