Butterfly Farm

On Monday 10th June, the children in Chestnut class enjoyed a day trip to the Butterfly Farm at Stratford on Avon.

They walked around the rain forest area where they saw lots of different species of butterfly and moth.  Whilst they were there, they were given the opportunity to handle some creepy crawlies including a millipede!  Their guide  explained to them all about the life cycles of the different creatures and butterflies that they saw.  It was funny, a few of the butterflies landed on some of the children!

After their visit to the Butterfly Farm the children ate their picnic lunch and before it was time to travel home, they had some time to have fun playing in the nearby park.

They had a fabulous day and learnt a lot too!
