A team of girls from Years 4, 5 and 6 entered a 7 a-side World Cup Football District Competition which took place on Tuesday 16th July at Daventry Sports Park.
Our team played several matches throughout the afternoon, the first match v Crick, the second v. The Abbey A team, then Brixworth. Later on the play offs were against Braunston and The Abbey.
We were extremely proud of our girls, they displayed great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the afternoon. Holly A was selected as one of three people out of all the schools there, who showed excellent skills and sportsmanship during the afternoon. Very well done to Holly and also to the rest of our team!
