On Monday 7th October, the Reception children in Chestnut class enjoyed a harvest story in their classroom with Miss Smith, before heading out to St Faith's Church, Kilsby to practise their song. They will be singing a Harvest song at the Harvest service in church at 9.30am on Wednesday 9th October 2019.
The whole school, parents and other villagers will be there and the Rev Nigel Fry will lead the service. Coffee and cake will be served by Rowan class back at the school afterwards.
In the morning, the children bring beautifully decorated harvest box gifts to school, filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, tins, packets, etc. and these are distributed by the children, to the elderly people in Kilsby village.
