Today, Wednesday 11th November the whole school held a 2-minute silence at 11am in the playground to mark Remembrance day. After the silence, a Remembrance Day prayer was read by Joshua H-F (Year 6).
The children have made some beautiful poppies this week, which were displayed outside school on the fence and gates. They really looked pretty!
Normally we would walk to the church to pay our respects with the Rev Nigel Fry and stand in the churchyard beside the War Memorial for our 2-minute silence, but this year sadly it was not possible to do that.
