Lifestyle Week in Chestnut Class


The whole school is taking part in a 'Lifestyle' week this week.

To kick off Chestnut class' lifestyle week we have talked about ways to keep happy and healthy. We discussed things we could do at school to do this, and every child wrote an idea down on a post it note. 

We have been picking out a couple to try each day. One day we picked out Oliver’s idea which was yoga, also Lois suggested dancing and Eli's idea was running on the running track, so the class have been very busy doing all these activities throughout the week, and we haven't finished yet!

Today the children have been learning about healthy eating.  They helped to make a fruit salad, carefully chopping up the fruit and then enjoyed choosing what was going on their plate.  They really liked eating it at snack time!
