A Day of Cricket for All

 

Before we broke up for the Whitsun break, the children in Cherry and the rest of the school, enjoyed a day's cricketing with someone who came out to visit us from Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.  

The sessions were run in class groups throughout the day.  All the children really enjoyed learning how to play cricket.  They learnt how to bowl correctly, and how to hold the bat and the best way to stand facing the approaching ball.  They had a great time and learnt a lot.
