On Thursday 11th November all the staff and children walked to St Faith's Church, Kilsby to gather beside the War Memorial in the churchyard with the Rev Nigel Fry. Members of Kilsby Parish Council joined us too.
Each class had made their own poppy wreath which was taken along to the churchyard and laid at the War Memorial.
The children in Maple class recited a poem and a prayer was read and at 11am we held a 2 minute silence when we remembered all those who had lost their lives during the wars fighting for their country and for us.
