Today the children in Maple and Hawthorn classes enjoyed their first session of 10 learning to play the ukulele!
This is a First Access Project provided by NMPAT (Northamptonshire Music & Performing Arts Trust). The music teacher will be coming into school every Monday morning to take the lessons. Today the children have enjoyed learning how to hold the instrument and how to make a sound on it, together with some singing.
We are looking forward to seeing how the children progress over the next 10 weeks, then hopefully, at the end of the course they will be able to play a little tune together.
