Harvest Festival

We’ve had a lovely harvest assembly this morning.  The children brought their Harvest gift boxes into school all beautifully decorated.

During the assembly, Cedar class talked about what they were thankful for. Some were thankful for the crops, some were thankful for the farmers working hard and some were thankful for the people who work in the shops where we buy our food from 🥦🥕🥔🥬🍎🌽🍇

The Reception children shared what they had learnt about Harvest and wore their Harvest crowns that they spent a lot of time making.

The Harvest gift boxes containing fruit, vegetables, packets, tins, etc. were distributed to the elderly people in Kilsby village and also Kilsby House Residential Home, by the children in Year 6.  They were all very pleased to receive the gifts.
