Tag Rugby Tournament

Today our rugby team took part in a Tag Rugby Tournament at Daventry Rugby Club. 

Throughout the day they showed great team spirit and upheld our school values when times got tough in some games. Kilsby finished 4th of 17 teams competing in the tournament.

They were unbeaten in the early group stages winning 3 of 3. This guaranteed us a top 4 finish. In the afternoon the team looked to bring some silverware back to Kilsby for the first time. Two losses and a win put us in 4th position overcoming all other schools in the iMAT that competed.

This is something they have prepared for since pre-summer holidays. Everyone showed great enthusiasm and fantastic sportsmanship and we couldn’t be any prouder of this group of children, very well done to them all!
