Football Match v Braunston

An away win for Kilsby against Braunston in Thursday afternoon's friendly meeting. 

A valiant effort saw Kilsby come out the other end with a victory over a strong Braunston side. Bertie K was in goal and made some brilliant saves to keep Kilsby's hopes alive throughout the course of the game.

Daniel opened Kilsby's account with a fantastic assist from Will, but Braunston were quick to answer back. Soon enough, Will fancied his chances shooting from centre field. The ball deflects from Daniels back, confirming a second goal for him! Shocked and surprised at the spectacular goal, the boys were ecstatic. It only prompted them to continue their heroic efforts. Hari T was upfront and hungry for a goal, soon enough he got one.

The boys went into half time up by 2! Braunston were only going to come back harder and stronger in the second half but with some fantastic tackles from Jayden and brilliant footwork from Forest, it was just too much for Braunston. Goals from Will and Jayden sealed the deal for Kilsby and a hat trick for Daniel was a reward for his efforts. Mr Botterills boys took the win with pride and showed our school values as always and wore the badge with pride.
