On the afternoon of Tuesday 20th December, the iMAT, staff, governors, children and parents held a special assembly to say goodbye to Mrs Freeth, our Headteacher. It was a very emotional occasion for everyone. The children sang her some of her favourite songs, read out their own words about Mrs Freeth, and they played a video they had made in secret with the help of the staff! She received some wonderful gifts including gardening vouchers, a beautiful bouquet, an engraved watch, a superb leather rucksack and a 'Memories of Kilsby School' book (containing photos, and a note from every single child in the school) that we know she will treasure!
Mrs Freeth has been Headteacher at Kilsby School for 5 years and has transformed the school for the better, we are very sorry to see her go, she will be hugely missed by all. We wish her a very happy, healthy and enjoyable retirement, and hope she will pop in to see us when she can.
