Cherry Class' Activities

 

After the Whitsun break, during their first week back in school, the children in Cherry class used rulers and meter sticks to estimate and measure the length of different items in their Maths lesson.  They measured all sorts of things in the classroom, even each other!

They have also been watching the building work happening outside their classroom window, and especially enjoyed watching the cement go down into the foundations of the two new classrooms!

As the weather has been so lovely, they have been fortunate to be able to spend more time outside where they enjoyed listening to a story in the shade beneath a tree.

On the Friday afternoon they took part in a ‘Tae kwon do’ session. The children tried very hard practicing and learning all the different moves.  It was great fun!
